You'd think executives in high places would have learned their lessons about public tweeting of sexist comments.
Sexist attitudes toward women in the workplace are not new, but the CEO of healthcare startup Katnerson Systems took things to a new low at a demo day in Manhattan.
As reported by ValleyWag, Jorge Cortell,, a self-described "hacker-hactivist" posted a shot of a female attendee's high heels and posted it to his public Twitter account, saying, "Event supposed to be for entrepreneurs, VCs, but these heels (I've seen several like this) ... WTF? #brainsnotrequired"
Cortell was not content to leave the matter at that. As his employees and others started to engage with the comment on Twitter, he just kept it going.
